Omoinotake’s ‘EVERBLUE’, the opening theme song of Netflix’s anime “Blue Period” has been released!

‘EVERBLUE’ by Omoinotake, which is the opening theme song of the TV anime “Blue Period”, has been released for download and streaming. This is prior to the release of ‘EVERBLUE’(release date on Wednesday, November 17th) which is the first EP of Omoinotake from a major label.

“Blue Period” is a Japanese manga series that won the ‘Cartoon grand prize 2020’. Fans have been waiting for the TV animation and are excited about it.

‘EVERBLUE’ is arranged and produced by Mr. Koichi Tsutaya. The song has a disco sound which is somewhat nostalgic. Omoinotake worked hard for many years until they finally got their major debut. So the band members have put passion into this work.

TV animation “Blue Period” has been broadcasted on the Japanese TV programme called ‘‘Super Animeism’ on 28 TV stations network of TBS and MBS broadcast.

It has been released on Netflix inside Japan from September 25th prior to the rest of the world. Worldwide distribution (excluding some areas) on Netflix other than Japan finally begins from October 9th and it is planned to be distributed every Saturday.

“Hi, we are Omoinotake, who have created the opening theme song of the TV anime “Blue Period”. We are so honored to be involved in this amazing work which is full of emotions including both the pain and the amazingness of creating things. The truth is we thought that we didn’t have any particular talents in the beginning. Then we kept trying to find our way for many years. Then finally we found our place. It is actually the same location as in the “Blue Period”, which is a live performance we did on the street in Shibuya.

“Doing what I love doesn’t mean that I am always having fun”, the words of Yatora reminds us of how we are and we made a song with the words which were split from our feeling and melody. Until today we have continued working on our band for the last 9 years and we just simply ‘love music’ just like Yatora who ‘loves drawing’.We finished creating the world of ‘EVERBLUE’ as the opening theme song of “Blue Period”. Complex, conflict, not going well at the beginning when you start doing something and suffering, we put all of these feelings into this song. We hope many people put themselves into this song and think about the wishes of people who just started their challenges.”

■Artist Biography

The band consists of Leo Fujii（Leo) Keyboardist/Vocalist, Tomoaki Fukushima (Emoaki) Bassist and Hironoshin Tomita（Drage）Drummer. There are no Guitar members. They were classmates in junior high school. They formed the band in 2012. They performed live mainly on the street in Shibuya regularly and gained popularity. Digital single ‘Moratorium’ was used for the theme song for the tie-in theatre animation “Twittering Birds Never Fly – The Clouds Gather” and gained a lot of attention. They appeared on the YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE” for the first time even though they are from independent record labels. The song ‘Ubugoe’ which was released in November 2020 and was used as the opening theme for the TV drama on TV TOKYO “Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!”. They are expected to be the next break-out artist.

About TV animation “Blue Period”

Yatora Yaguchi who is in his second year of high school has been enjoying his everyday life playing with his friends. He studies well and is good at dealing with things smoothly. Everyone wants to live the best possible life… and Yatora himself has been always feeling empty inside himself somehow. One day Yatora was totally captured by a painting in an art room. Yatora found that he was able to express his feelings honestly for the first time. He discovered the joy of art and he started to draw in his sketchbooks on impulse. And finally, Yatora decided on his college choice for art school. The competitive ratio for the art school is 200x. It’s only 650 days till the entrance exam!

Magic of Bollywood at Tashkent International Film Festival

Recently concluded Tashkent International Film Festival witnessed participation from 15 countries including India, Italy, Russia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Tajikistan, and Turkey, among others. The theme of this edition of the festival was ‘For Peace, Enlightenment, and Progress’. The festival has a great history where once upon a time Raj Kapoor used to be the show-stealer. India presented its culture and cinematography – “Days of Indian Cinema” on September 28-29.

Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road“ appointed Sarfaraz Alam as Head of The Indian Delegation. India and Indian stars are very popular in this region especially Mithun Chakraborty and Shahrukh Khan. The organisers had requested Mr. Sarfaraz Alam and his company Kartina Entertainment for bringing stars from Bollywood to create magic and glamour on the red carpet. On 28th September 2021 at the beautiful ‘Panorama’ hall in Tashkent Sarfaraz Alam walked the red carpet with celebrities like Mithun Chakraborty, Randhir Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Boman Irani, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chaddha, Aditi Rao Haidri, Dino Morea, Kunal Kapoor, and many more. With this star-studded Bollywood delegation,  the show became totally Indian. Mithun Chakraborty stole the show and still has the biggest fan following in this region. The Uzbeki fans were thankful to Sarfaraz Alam for bringing Mithun Chakraborty back to the country where he is a living legend.

On 29th September at the same venue Kartina Entertainment organised an Indian event with the participation of all the Indian delegation under the leadership of Sarfaraz where the Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mr. Manish Prabhat was also present. The most emotional part of the event was when Mr. Sarfaraz Alam presented a beautiful bust of Raj Kapoor to the Government of Uzbekistan and the statue was revealed by Mr. Randhir Kapoor and Mr. Mithun Chakraborty along with the minister of Uzbekistan Kino Mr. Firdaus Fridunovitch. Song from “Mera Naam Joker .. Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan “ in the background and the bust revealing was really a tear-shedding moment for the audience. Then the highlight of the event was when the audience started shouting Jimmy Jimmy and Sarfaraz Alam pulled Mithun Chakraborty on the stage to show some of his signature steps.

Sarfaraz Alam said “This festival gives a unique opportunity for the Indian film industry to leave its mark on an international platform. This is an endeavour to deepen the historic connections between India and Uzbekistan and take the close cultural similarities of architecture, dance, music, art, trade, and cinema to new heights.”

Several Indian movies including films like Mumbai Saga directed by Sanjay Gupta and Ludo by Anurag Basu were screened at the Film festival. Overall the Tashkent International film festival was a great show, great hospitality and with lots of gifts and souvenirs our stars came back to India.

AdiDev Press’ book on emotions beautifully captures the spectrum of human emotions

Emotions play an important role in our everyday life. The ability to understand and navigate one’s own emotions is imperative for a healthy and happy life. It is linked to success in personal and professional life in the future. Children and adults who are emotionally competent tend to have more successful, social, and independent lives.

AdiDev Press understands the importance of helping a child navigate their emotions. The book achieves its goal of enabling children to identify and make sense of different emotions. Farmsnation: This app will change the way you buy from Farmers

Most city-dwellers today are struggling with the challenge of finding pure fruits and vegetables in their area. The range of options from local mandis to online delivery apps to grocery stores place little emphasis on quality and purity. Quality produce, when available, often comes at exorbitantly high prices for daily consumption. New-age agritech startup, Farmsnation, set out on a mission to change the way consumers are buying fruits and vegetables.

At Farmsnation, the team truly believes every family deserves to eat fresh and have information on the source of the food they are consuming. With this thought in mind, the idea of Farmsnation was born – a website and mobile app that helps consumers discover local farmers in their area and buy directly from them. The Farmsnation app currently allows consumers to buy fresh groceries – vegetables, fruits, dairy, herbs, and more from farmers in their city. As a consumer, the app allows you to know the name of your farmer, his values, and how he produces the food. With a strong focus on quality of food, the platform also verifies farmers and suppliers to ensure good farming practices. The founders claim 100% transparency and that anything less than pure and hygienic is non-existent on Farmsnation. Farmsnation’s prices are quite competitive because while farmers are free to set their own prices, farmers compete with each other for getting orders. This helps maintain fair pricing, a win-win situation for both consumers and farmers.

We spoke to the founders at Farmsnation about how the venture came into light. Varun Rastogi was working as a banker at HSBC when the idea to open a dairy farm came to his mind. He quit his job in 2018 to pursue the dairy business with his brother, TarunRastogi. The duo dived right in and grew the farm to 60 cattle until the pandemic hit the world in 2020. As the world went into lockdown, they quickly realized that the one community hit the worst were the farmers. They connected with the farmers to understand the root cause of their distress. What they identified was that due to limited tools and sales education, farmers were at the mercy of the middlemen. They were unable to reach the end consumer directly and the middlemen were buying their produce at rock-bottom prices. This farm produce was being sold to mandis with a high markup by the middlemen and further resellers and grocery stores again kept their markup, selling to the end consumer at almost 10X of the original prices. Farmers were suffering as part of fractured food production and delivery system, designed to be neither in their favor nor the consumers’.

It wasn’t just about the pricing but they also had a revelation on why consumers were having to settle with low-quality groceries. “We spoke to many farmers, about their farming practices, to understand what makes them throw harmful chemicals in their fields, give hormone injections to their cattle, and treat animals inhumanely. We even met farmers who harvest vegetables and fruits separately for their families and customers. What they sell is NOT what they eat. It wasn’t that the farmers did not want to grow high-quality fruits and vegetables. But even if they did, they were not getting a fair price or the right customers for it.” said Tarun Rastogi.

As the two partners realized the gap, they got the idea to create an online marketplace for farmers or as they put it, ‘an Airbnb for farmers’. They joined hands with the other two co-founders, Pulkit & Shorya to build the technology in the form of a website and mobile app, that would provide an efficient and transparent online market for farm produce.

The app has successfully served 14000 customers so far and has 10,000+ app downloads on Google Play Store. The startup has also received a great response through daily registrations from farmers, looking to sell their produce on the app.

“Beyond just being an online farmers market, we have the vision to empower farmers and customers with quality, purity, and transparency as our core values. We wanted to solve the challenge of farmers not being able to get the right value for their produce. We are happy to be part of this food revolution of bringing quality produce to our consumers. We truly believe consumers shouldn’t have to compromise on the quality and purity of their daily grocery supplies. Currently, the app has already helped farmers access new customers and grow their earnings by giving them e-commerce features to add products, farm pictures, receive payments and manage orders. We want to create meaningful and long-term benefits for farmers by providing them sales education and e-commerce tools“ said Varun Rastogi.

Farmsnation is currently available as a website, ios, and android app and has already received funding from PV Venture, a US-based VC firm. The funds are being used to leverage technology to come to the rescue of farmers and their daily struggles.

Publishing house for children’s books, AdiDev Press, celebrates South Asian Culture, like none other

We owe it to ourselves to preserve our own traditional tales to rediscover the realms of our rich culture and heritage. AdiDev Press, an indie publishing house, is born with a quest to bring forth strong themes of South Asian culture, for young children. योगाचार्य श्री अशोक जी को श्रद्धांजलि उपयुक्त कबीर जी का दोहा उन पर पूर्ण रूप से लागू होता है। वह एक महान पुण्य आत्मा थी जिन्होंने एक महान योगी सद्गुरुदेव योगेश्वर देवीदयाल जी महाराज के वंश में तृतीय पुत्र के रूप में 1953 में जन्म लिया। बहुत संस्कारी अधिकारी आत्माएँ होती है जो योगी महापुरुष के घर जन्म लेती है और जन्म से ही उनकों योग में संस्कार मिलते है। आपजी ने अपना सारा जीवन अपने गुरु/पिता योगेश्वर देवीदयाल जी महाराज (तृतीय गुरु गद्दी) एवं अपने भ्राता श्री सद्गुरुदेव स्वामी सुरेन्द्र देव जी महाराज (चतुर्थ गुरु गद्दी) की आज्ञा के अनुसार अपना जीवन यापन करते हुए आश्रम एवं योग की सेवा में लोक हित के लिए मानव कल्याण में लगा दिया।

भगवान श्री कृष्ण गीता में कहते हैं कि जो-जो करता हुआ मानव जीवन के लक्ष्य मोक्ष तक नहीं भी पहुँच पाता। उसे मैं अगला जन्म योगी परिवार में उच्च कुल में देता हूँ ताकि जहाँ से उसने योग साधना अनुसार पूनर्जन्म से शुरू करके अपना जीवन सफल कर सके। ऐसे ही हमारे योगाचार्य श्री अशोक जी का जीवन हुआ। आपजी के पिता जी योगेश्वर देवीदयाल जी महाराज एक महान योगी हुए जिन्होंने हम जैसे भटके हुए अनगिनत जीवों को योग के मार्ग पर लगा कर भक्ति की राह दिखाई। ऐसे उच्च कुल में जन्म लेना ही बहुत सौभाग्य की बात है। ये समस्त परिवार ही योगी परिवार है। आपजी के जेष्ठ भ्राता श्री स्वामी लाल जी महाराज आज भी देश-विदेशों में योग का प्रचार कर रहे हैं। और आपजी के जेेष्ठ भ्राता श्री स्वामी सुरेन्द्र देव जी महाराज ने अपना सारा जीवन संसार की मोह माया त्याग कर योग की सेवा में, आश्रम की सेवा में, जन कल्याण पर निच्छावर कर दिया।

ऐसे महान महापुरुषों के कर-कमलों में नत्मस्तक होता हूँ। और आपजी के भतीजे प्रधान योगाचार्य श्री स्वामी अमित देव जी दिन-रात एक करते हुए श्री योग योगेश्वर महाप्रभु रामलाल जी भगवान (प्रथम गुरु गद्दी) के योग ध्वज को और ऊँचा कर संसार में फैला रहे है। जिसमें हमें पूर्ण सहयोग देकर पुण्य के अधिकारी एवं प्रभु जी के कृपा के पात्र बनना चाहिए। प्राणी के जन्म से लेकर बल्कि उससे पहले से ही अन्त तक सोलह संस्कार होते है। और ये अन्तिम संस्कार सोलवाँ संस्कार होता हैं। जिस विधि-विधान से, श्रद्धा-भक्ति से श्री योगाचार्य अशोक जी का अन्तिम संस्कार हुआ है। वह कम प्राणियों को नसीब होता है। आप अपना जीवन सफल करके इस संसार से विदा हुए। जैसे योगी पुरूष जाते है। न ही स्वयं कष्ट उठाया, न किसी को कष्ट में डाला। यह महान पुण्य आत्मा का संकेत है। लेकिन हम सबके लिए यह दुःख सहना सरल कार्य नहीं है। उनका पंचभौतिक शरीर आज हमारे बीच नहीं हैं लेकिन उनका वास हमारे दिलों में है। जो प्राणी दिलों में वास कर गया। वह युगों-युगों तक संसार में अमर रहता है। मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है कि आपजी के सुपुत्र श्री नितिन जी एवं श्री कार्तिकेय जी आपजी के पद चिन्हों पर चलते हुए अपने गुरुजनों की कीर्ति और यश को और बढ़ायेंगे।

श्री महाप्रभु जी के चरणों में यही प्रार्थना है कि वो आपको अपने चरणों में स्थान दें। और हम सब भगत समाज आपके साथ है परन्तु विधि के विधान के आगे, प्रभु इच्छा के आगे प्राणी को नत्मस्तक होना ही पड़ता है। आपजी की कमी तो पूरी नहीं हो सकती। हमारी परमपिता परमात्मा श्री महाप्रभु जी के चरणों में फिर ये ही प्रार्थना है कि दिवंगत आत्मा को अपने चरणों में स्थान दें। और परिवार को इस महान दुःख को सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।

श्रद्धांजलि देने वालों में मुख्य रूप से राजनीतिक पार्टियों, सामाजिक संगठनों एवं धार्मिक डेरों के अलावा पूरे देश के विभिन्न शहरों से श्रद्धालु पहुँचे। श्रद्धांजलि देने वालों के यह बात गले बिल्कुल नहीं उतर रही थी कि जो शख्सियत कल तक उनके बीच में थी आज वह हमेशा के लिए सांसारिक जीवन को अलविदा कह गई। सभी के जुबान पर एक बात स्पष्ट थी कि जिसके जीवन में योगाचार्य अशोक जी आए उसके जीवन की कायाकल्प कर दी। उनकी कार्यशैली इस कदर बेदाग और निस्वार्थ थी कि वे हर व्यक्ति के दुःख-सुख में हर पल खड़े नजर आते थे और यही बात सोच कर उनके चाहने वालों की आँखें नम हो जाती हैं कि जो कल उनके दुःख-सुख का साथी था आज वह उनके बीच नहीं रहा।

योगाचार्य अशोक जी के सबसे करीबी लखनऊ के डाॅक्टर अखिलेश तिवारी जी भी ने नम आँखों से श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए कहा कि योगाचार्य अशोक जी के चले जाने से उनके जीवन में जो अंधकार आया है उसमें कभी रोशनी मुमकिन नहीं है। उनका कहना है कि उन्होंने एक ऐसे सच्चे मित्र और बड़े भाई को खो दिया जिसकी उनके जीवन में भरपाई होना संभव नहीं है। वहीं हेल्थ यूनिवर्सिटी के रजिस्ट्रार डाॅ0 हरिकिशन अग्रवाल ने कहा कि योगाचार्य अशोक जी एक सच्चे ईमानदार और निस्वार्थ इंसान हुए और उनका जो सानिध्य उन्हें मिला वह कभी भूल नहीं सकते। वहीं योगाचार्य अशोक जी के बड़े भाई स्वामी लाल जी महाराज ने कहा कि उनके जीवन काल में दो छोटे भाईयों का उनकी आँखों के सामने चले जाना सबसे बड़ा दुःख है जिसकी भरपाई संभव नहीं है। उन्होंने बोलते हुए कहा कि आज उनके प्रिय छोटे भाई योगाचार्य अशोक जी की श्रद्धांजलि सभा में जिस तरह से लोगों का अपार जनसमूह देखने को मिल रहा है उससे स्पष्ट है कि योगाचार्य अशोक जी एक मिलनसार शख्सियत हुए।

Union Minister for Tourism, Culture & DoNER, Shri G Kishan Reddy virtually addressed the Buddhist Circuit Train FAM Tour and Conference organised in Varanasi today. State Minister (Independent Charge) Tourism, Culture & Religious Affairs, Uttar Pradesh Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari graced the event as Chief Guest. Secretary of Ministry of Tourism, GoI Shri Arvind Singh; DG of Ministry of Tourism, GoI Shri G Kamla Vardhan Rao; ADG of MoT, GoI Smt. Rupinder Brar and other officers of the Ministry and State government were also present on this occasion.

During his virtual address, Shri G. Kishan Reddy said that Buddhism originated in ancient India more than 2500 years ago and spread through much of Asia. “With close to 500 million followers, Buddhists represent 7% of the world’s total population. The Indian Buddhist heritage is of great interest to the followers of Buddhism all over the world”, he added.

Shri Reddy further said that the philosophy of Lord Buddha guides many Indians even as they pursue other religions. He added that the Buddhist circuit is India’s pride. The important Buddhist sites currently receive approximately 6% of nationwide foreign tourist arrivals with Sarnath and Bodh Gaya leading the pack.

Shri Reddy added that the Tourism Ministry is working with various Ministries and organisations. Our aim is to improve the hard and soft infrastructure to improve the tourist and pilgrim experience of all the sites. “In this very special year which marks the 75th anniversary of our nation’s independence, we must introspect and pledge to do everything to make India the number one country for tourism. As we celebrate the various events nationwide through ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, I do request your support in maximising participation”, he added.

Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari said that Uttar Pradesh has a maximum of 6 places related to Lord Buddha and rapid development work is going on at all these sites. The international airport at Kushinagar is ready to be inaugurated. Shri Tiwari further added that after the arrival of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the condition of Varanasi has changed and work has been done on projects worth several thousand crores. Minister gave details of the Buddhist Circuit and other religious tourist places.

Shri Arvind Singh said that the Ministry of Tourism has been appointed as the nodal ministry to work on reviving India as the Global Centre of Buddhist Culture and Tourism. “Under its flagship scheme “Swadesh Darshan”, which focuses on the integrated development of theme-based tourist circuits, the Ministry has undertaken multiple projects as part of the Buddhist Circuits in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh”, he added.

Shri Arvind further said that under Uttar Pradesh Buddhist Circuit, Shravasti, Kushinagar, and Kapilvastu, Projects have been undertaken for infrastructure development which will be completed in 2021. “The construction of a Cultural Centre at Bodhgaya, Bihar is also underway. Under the PRASHAD scheme, the Ministry has sanctioned multiple projects in Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Sikkim. In Varanasi, projects worth Rs 9.5 Cr, focusing on the development of Buddhist structures, have been completed. These include a sound and light show at Dhamek Stupa and a Buddha Theme Park at Sarnath”, he added.

During the conference COO of IATO, Mr. Rahul Chakravarty gave a presentation on the potential of the Buddhist Circuit and Jt. GM of IRCTC Dr. Achyut Singh gave a presentation on Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train and the facilities being provided by IRCTC on the train which includes Mini Library. The major objective of the conference was to present the efforts and developments that have taken place in the Buddhist Circuit by the Government of India and to discuss and deliberate the way forward for the promotion of Buddhist Tourism in India. This conference was part of the Ministry of Tourism’s Buddhist Circuit Train FAM Tour scheduled from 04th October – 08th October 2021.

The Tourism Ministry has taken a four-fold development strategy that focuses on improving the connectivity via air, rail, and roads, enhancing the tourism infrastructure and dependent services, streamlining branding and promotion, and showcasing the culture and heritage. Under Swadesh Darshan Scheme, 5 projects worth Rs325.53 crore have been sanctioned for Buddhist circuit development in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh and those sanctioned projects are under different stages of implementation. While works of Rs 44.19 crore on three projects have been sanctioned under PRASHAD Scheme; in Varanasi, two projects including a sound and light show at Dhamek Stupa and a Buddha Theme Park, Sarnath, worth costing Rs 9.5 crores for the development of Buddhist structures have been completed.

In addition to the development of tourism-related infrastructure under the various schemes of the Ministry of Tourism, emphasis is also being put on promoting the various Buddhist Sites within India and overseas markets. As part of the above, India Tourism Offices in overseas markets regularly participate in a number of travel and tourism fairs as well as exhibitions wherein India’s Buddhist Sites are promoted. Also, Ministry of Tourism organises Buddhist Conclave every alternate year with the objective of promoting India as a Buddhist Destination and major markets around the globe. The upcoming International Buddhist Conclave is scheduled from 17th to 21st November 2021. Ministry has undertaken multiple projects under branding and promotion that are currently in the pipeline including a live virtual exhibition at national museum, web portal, annual events calendar, social media marketing, campaigns in key source markets like Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, etc.

The Ministry has also worked on projects for capacity building that include Linguistic Tourist Facilitator training in Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese languages. 525 people have been trained in these languages between 2018 to 2020, and 600 more will be trained between 2020 and 2023. This is especially important as Buddhism, has branched out to a large part of Asia, and 97% of the world’s Buddhists are concentrated in East and Southeast Asia alone. Hence it is important to develop a linguistic connect with the tourists.
