In a fast-paced world full of modernization, digitalization and commercialism, it’s easy to lose the connection to your own body and mind. While we can now achieve more than ever and develop rapidly in terms of economic growth and job opportunities, people keep forgetting one major thing of great importance: their own health and well-being.

Wanting more, achieving more, rushing and racing is a common lifestyle in most modern societies, but how much can our own body and mental state take in the long term?

During a recent study conducted by McKinsey, 4 out of 10 Indians show high levels of depression, anxiety, burnout and distress.

Not only mentally, but also physically many individuals are severely impacted due to an unhealthy lifestyle. Back pain, insomnia, diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic fatigue syndrome were some of the very common ailments in 7 out of 10 Indians.

While some individuals ignore those physical health limitations completely, others aim to search for fast-working cures and lifestyle changes that can help to improve their quality of life.

Yoga has been the number one life saver and life-quality booster for millions of people already worldwide. As the ancient science of creating optimum health, yoga integrates various practical techniques to help improve physical, mental and emotional health. It is a scientifically proven fact, that asana, pranayama and meditation work directly on the nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory and endocrines systems and improve their functions.

There are many videos and resources online, however one should always consult with an experienced yoga teacher or Ayurvedic doctor to understand which techniques are most suitable for one’s body and current issues.

The Yoga India Foundation is one of the oldest and most experienced yoga schools and ashrams in India. The non-profit organization has taught more than 10000 international and national individuals the powerful and healing aspects of yoga.

Individuals can apply for various courses at the ashram; the most popular one is the 21-day residential 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India. During this course, everything about yoga is taught from A to Z or from very foundational to more intermediate levels. Participants learn about the philosophy of yoga and Ayurveda but also practical techniques that include Kriyas, Asana and Pranayama and Meditation. An Ayurvedic Doctor is always present to provide pulse diagnose and herbal supplements along the course to naturally assist the healing process. Participants are trained to learn how to cure their own physical and mental problems by applying Yoga techniques in a Therapeutic context.

A yoga teacher training in India can be a life-changing and transformational experience. It can be the kickstart to more self-awareness, self-control and peace.

Yoga has the power to heal you: your body and mind both. When practiced continuously and correctly, yoga can be the best tool to bring stability, calmness and happiness to every one’s life.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, On March 3, addressed the post-budget webinar on “Developing Tourism in Mission Mode’, organized by Ministry of Tourism. This is a series of post-budget webinars being organized by the Government with an aim to brainstorm ideas for effective implementation of the initiatives announced in the Union Budget-2023.

In his address, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that tourism has always been a part of our social and cultural civilization. India`s tourism comprises of multiple aspects and can be promoted as coastal tourism, wildlife tourism, adventure tourism, cultural tourism, beach, mangrove, Himalayan, spiritual tourism and others. This year`s Budget prioritizes the development of tourist destination in a holistic manner and it aims to develop at least 50 tourism destinations which can then be promoted globally. He stated that with the development of tourist amenities at destinations, the tourism sector will definitely flourish. As an example, with the reconstruction of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple corrido, 7 crore tourists have visited the city. Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Kedarnath Dham are live models highlighting the fact that ease of travelling encourages increased tourist footfall. Further technological advances and digitalization with better infrastructure and cleanliness will help to boost tourism. Apps for tourists and digital connectivity can be modernized to make it accessible to all tourists. There has been an increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting India. With a proper strategy to promote India globally, the footfall is also bound to increase substantially. The Union Budget 2023-24 has allocated an amount of Rs 2400 crores to the Ministry of Tourism.

Prime Minister described Destination Weddings as an upcoming niche and emerging sector which had the potential for increasing tourism. The exchange of intercultural wedding rituals amongst the States can boost the sector further. Further events like global Conferences and sporting events has the potential to create stupendous level of infrastructure. He cited the example of the recent FIFA World Cup 2022, which benefitted Qatar`s economy massively.

The Post Budget Webinar had 6 breakout sessions deliberating on Destination Centric Approach for Tourism Development, Convergence – The Power of Collaboration, Strengthening Public Private Participation in Tourism Sector, Driving Innovation and Digitalization in Tourism Sector, Impacting lives at grass root level through Tourism and Cultural Heritage for Promotion of Tourism. The sessions saw active participation from different panelists from State, Central Ministries as well as Industry associations, District administrations, local bodies, experts in the field of tourism and hospitality, Invest India etc.

Speaking at the concluding session, Minister of Tourism, Shri G. Kishan Reddy thanked Prime Minister for showing the path for developing tourism sector in mission mode as well as all the panelists and speakers for their suggestion and ideas to overcome the challenges and move towards implementation of the budget announcements. He stated that the biggest employment generating sector could very well be the tourism sector after textiles industry. Government of India, state governments, private stakeholders and civil society should closely work together to promote the tourism industry of the country. This sector is one of the sectors to generate maximum employment with the least capital investment, he said.

Secretary Tourism, Shri Arvind Singh on the occasion said that this year’s budget has given us new vision for tourism development and it focuses on promotion of tourism in mission mode, with active participation of states, convergence of government programmes and public-private partnerships. He also said that the budget proposes facilitation of tourism infrastructure and amenities in border villages under the Vibrant Village programmes and encourages setting up a Unity Mall in the state capital or most prominent tourism center or the financial capital for promotion and sale of their own ODOPs (one district, one product), GI products and other handicraft products, and for providing space for such products of all other States.

Shri Arvind Singh highlighted the fact that this year’s budget advocates a shift from department centric and scheme centric approach to a destination centric approach for planning, development and management of tourism

On the occasion Secretary Culture, Shri Govind Mohan said that the Ministry of Culture has the basic objective of preserving, disseminating and also promoting Indian Culture and Indian culture is a very rich repository of ideas, of places, of facets of our heritage, of performing arts, visual arts, monuments which are of immense interests to the tourists not only within India but also abroad.

He also informed that to begin with the Ministry of Culture will develop 5 big cultural spaces in India and going forward more spaces will be developed. These are the places where the tourists will be exposed to the best of Indian music, dance performances, book reading, painting competitions, quizzing competitions and other cultural activities in the integrated fashion.

Secretary Culture also highlighted the importance of technology and said that using AI, VR and other digital techniques the monuments can be developed as more interesting places for the younger generation. He also said that PPP’s have the potential creating value around these monuments and make them living example of wealth and beauty India offers.

A number of suggestions and ideations emanated from the deliberations, which are broadly as follows :-

  1. Planning of the destinations is crucial for the development of the destinations. The model on the lines of Ekta Nagar needs to be replicated.
  2. Destination Management is important which should be done taking into account the government agencies, private partners and local communities.
  3. It is important to device a mechanism which institutionalizes an enabling framework for promoting public private partnership in the tourism and hospitality sector.
  4. Expeditious role of national digital tourism mission which can provide a similar tourism interface between tourism stakeholders and services to the tourists. Convergence of skilling, capacity building and enterprises development at the destination for various cutting edge job opportunities in tourism and hospitality sectors.
  5. Promoting ease of doing business particularly for hospitality sector which is to take various promotions from multiple departments and agencies from the government. Visitor management system should be in place to manage over crowing at the destinations. There is a need to introduce courses of skilling of tour guides across the country and at all the destinations.
  6. India has innumerable heritage monuments which can attract domestic and foreign tourists provided they have quality tourist amenities and tourist experiences. Specific schemes should be introduced for such tourism centric development at these heritage sites.

India was originally referred to as the “Golden Bird” or “Bird of Gold,” which is what it actually was up until the white people conned India and gave us the moniker “Third-World Nation.” India was the leader in the artistic handmade industry when our resources were genuinely sought after, and the rest is history.

India’s economy is currently the fifth largest, surpassing that of our former colonial masters, yet our market does not experience the same growth and independence. Even though we have advanced and excelled in many areas, our markets are still suffering, especially the unorganised retail sector. E-commerce behemoths are devouring our unorganised retail sector, stifling everyone with their aggressive marketing tactics and alluring offers while leaving our neighbourhood store owners with unsold inventory. To save money, we Indians seek for steep discounts, but at what cost? We are selling our market to MNCs based in America. The founders of The AKR Company saw the chaos in the market, sought to fix the broken system, and created a plan to rebuild India from its pitiful state.

The organised retail sector increased from 9% in 2019 to a startling 18% in 2021, almost doubling it. The e-commerce sector increased from 3% in 2019 to 7% in 2021. The unorganised retail sector has seen a significant decline over the past three years, going from a staggering 88% in 2019 to 75% in 2021.

The AKR Company which is registered as Audacious Kingship Raiders Private Limited is a Patna-based start-up that was chosen by Bihar government under the start-up policy scheme and was incubated by Bihar Industries Association’s Venture Park Incubator. It was founded by two undergraduate students, later the number of co-founders increased to five people.

The team behind Grounding Mat™ has finally unveiled their first mobile grounding product, the Grounding Mat Kit, after years of research and development. The company has determined that slippers/shoes disconnect us from the Earth and this kit offers a solution by replicating the benefits of walking barefoot while providing added safety protection, comfort, and style. The Grounding Mat Kit, Made in India, allows users to stay naturally connected to the Earth energy while staying indoors.

“Experience Optimal Wellness Naturally with Grounding Mat: No lifestyle changes needed to improve your health”

Grounding Mat Therapy Kit is an Indian product, Stylish, Affordable, and Carbon Infused Conductive Material which makes every part of the mat conductive which can easily transport Earth’s Natural Energy to Flow into Your Body and Replicate the Benefits of Walking Barefoot and Absorbing Free Electrons from the Earth’s Natural Surfaces.

Recent studies have shown that grounding therapy can have pain-relieving properties and is considered by many health professionals worldwide as a natural, side-effect-free therapy.

Studies have revealed that people with chronic back pain have reported significant relief by sleeping Grounded. Regular use of the Grounding Mat may also improve sleep, reduce inflammation, and reduce anxiety, stress and Hypertension. Grounding Mat is also recommended by doctors.

As researchers and manufacturers of the Grounding Mat, we have found that it harnesses the natural biological pull and push energy force in blood cells, thereby improving blood circulation and oxygen level saturation. It is a 100% natural painkiller.

What is Grounding?

Grounding, also known as earthing, is an ancient practice based on the belief that disconnecting ourselves from the Earth’s energy through non-conductive barriers hinders our ability to heal. Our bodies are naturally grounded, but modern-day habits insulate us from this connection. When the body is grounded, it readjusts, creating a physiological balance by absorbing millions of ‘free electrons’ from the Earth’s surface.

Grounding is not a widely known practice, but if you’ve ever walked barefoot, you’ve experienced it without realizing it,” said Taiseer Ali, co-founder of Grounding Mat™.

Recent studies have provided strong evidence that being grounded has a significant positive impact on the human body. However, until now, grounding has been limited to costly products with no style, affordable, and fully-conductive options available. Taiseer Ali and co-founder Zubair Ahmed spent the past two years researching grounding to make it an affordable and practical lifestyle choice for the mainstream market.

Every human being who is wearing shoes has some kind of mental and health issues such as diabetes, blood sugar imbalances, fatigue, low daytime energy or hormonal imbalances. These problems were not as prevalent 60 years ago because our ancestors were grounded by walking barefoot and sleeping on the ground. In the modern world, we have introduced tile floors, plastic mats, and multi-story buildings which have disconnected us from the Earth. Additionally, we humans have introduced modern Appliances and devices in our daily life which are generating harmful EMF which is affecting our bodies and damaging our healthy cells. EMF is like a slow poison. The loss of connection with the Earth’s energy is a major reason for these health issues. Just as sunlight and air are important for our health, the energy from the Earth is also crucial for maintaining wellness.

Modern living has separated us from nature. At Grounding Mat, we aim to bridge that gap by showing consumers around the world the health, wellness, and lifestyle benefits of grounding.

About Grounding Mat Therapy Kit.

Grounding Mat Therapy Kit can be used anywhere, at home, in offices or while travelling.
