LMYK Releases ‘Perfect World’ CD and Dazzling ‘Firefighter Daigo’ Music Video!

The song ‘Perfect World’ was written by LMYK as the ending theme for the anime series ‘Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange’. Since it premiered on digital platforms in October, the physical version of the popular track which has been long awaited by fans of LMYK and viewers of the anime alike, was released today, November 8th! The jacket features artwork depicting the main characters from the anime created specifically for this release and comes bundled with a DVD featuring the ending roll of the anime with the credits removed and also the official music video for ‘Perfect World’.

Moreover, to commemorate the release of the CD, a new version of the music video for ‘Perfect World’ featuring scenes from the anime ‘Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange’ has also been released today. The video condenses the story of the growth of three young people into one short film.

“Without Love,” the ending theme song for the anime series VINLAND SAGA SEASON 2, is the new single by LMYK.　The anime trailer for the featuring the song and the ending video of the series have been viewed over 600,000 times in a short period of time. Many people from around the world left enthusiastic, positive comments about the song.

In addition, the TV anime series received three awards, including the grand prize in the “Anime Trending Awards 2020” and has since established its popularity worldwide. LMYK was greatly selected as the ending theme of the TV anime “The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas no Carte)”, and this new song “0 (zero)” was ranked high not only in Japan but also in Taiwan and Canada. The music video that was recently released on YouTube, in which she appeared for the first time, has also received many enthusiastic comments from overseas. In response to these positive responses, a new music video of “0 (zero)” featuring illustrations from the anime “The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas no Carte)” has been released.

The TV anime “The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas no Carte)” is based on the latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of the popular manga “Pandora Hearts” which has sold over 5.5 million copies. And it is currently on air. It is produced by BONES, a company famous for producing high-quality anime such as “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven”, and has been getting a lot of attention overseas. LMYK produced both Japanese and English versions of the song for this anime. For the overseas distribution of the anime, a new attempt has been made to use the English version of the song in English-speaking regions. It is an elegant and gothic soundscape that beautifully adorns the steampunk world of 19th century Paris. The newly released music video for the anime version of “0 (zero)” is also based on the English lyrics, and the images from the TV anime are exquisitely edited to match the music and the world of the anime, making it an enjoyable experience for both music and anime fans. Digital version of “0 (zero)” – the ending song of anime “The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas no Carte)” is available now!

LMYK is a talented singer, popular for her debut song “Unity” – the theme for the Japanese dubbed version of “The Legend of Hei” movie. Now, her new song “0 (zero)” has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime “The Case Study of Vanitas”. The anime (Japanese animated show) is based on the latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of the popular manga “Pandora Hearts” which sold over 5.5 million copies. The digital version of this theme has been released today! Fans who love the anime and have been waiting for the song showed excitement, and commented thoughts on social media, “When this song was first released, it stuck with me from the first time I heard it, and I was really looking forward to listening to the full version”.

To coincide with today’s digital release of “0 (zero)”, the English & Japanese version of this video has been released simultaneously. The anime is distributed internationally, and it is great to see an attempt to use the English version in English-speaking regions. These two music videos were directed by the up-and-coming filmmaker Soh Ideuchi. He captures the world of the song and the artist from a unique perspective, making a creation that can be called a visual poem.
