, VJIM just did that by providing a platform to students with entrepreneurial bent of mind to showcase their start-up ideas at “Ignitron”. Ignitron was part of a three-day event of MILAN 2023 where an inter college business plan competition was held. ‘Manifestation of dreams’ being the theme of the competition, where contestants had to come up with a business plan which is innovative as well as be a possible solution to a problem.
All the teams went through a preliminary round where they explained the basics of their business plan. By the end of the 1
st
round, 5 teams qualified for the final round. The final round was judged by
Dr Zahoor Ullah
, the Chief Innovation Officer and Incubation officer at Aleap We hub, and
Mr Vijay Bawara
, Senior director – of start-up innovation at T-hub. Contestants created unique pitches on diverse topics and put their best foot forward while the judges brought in fresh perspectives and shared their insights. The one pitch that fascinated the judges was from the group

- the team that hailed from Manipur and presented a business plan that reflected the soul of Manipur and stood by the theme "manifestation of dreams''. Every pitch seemed as interesting as the other. From the use of blockchain in food services, to websites that can help in the creation of apps, and use of A.I. in the creation of models for construction etc. The final presentations ended up in a tie.
