This annual event celebrates and recognises the exceptional efforts of publishers across the country, showcasing the finest in book production and craftsmanship.

About the Awards

Established over four decades ago, the FIP instituted the Awards for Excellence in Book Production to promote internationally comparable standards in book production. The awards have continually acknowledged and honoured the diverse contributions of publishers throughout India. This esteemed competition aims to inspire publishers to elevate book production quality, encompassing physical attributes like paper, printing, and binding and the crucial elements of design, typography, layout, and overall readability.

Indian publishers take immense pride in producing literary materials that meet global standards. The FIP Annual Awards are the only national awards within the book industry, drawing an overwhelming response from publishers nationwide.

Two eminent personalities will grace the awards ceremony:

  • Smriti Zubin Irani, a notable politician, former cabinet minister, acclaimed author, and celebrity, will present the awards, bringing her extensive experience and influence to the event.
